Day 24 - Empire Ranch

A Tucsononian business with a refreshing sense of humour.

The stage is set at Empire Ranch.

These little pop up tents are set up all over the grounds. The volunteers tell us it's for a giant round up and ranch party on Saturday. They're expecting 1000's. We think uh huh - it is the invasion force - fixin' to set down in this remote and unsuspecting patch of Arizona. We think they also have forgotten to account for the massive local Border Patrol - always vigilant. Of course nothing will ever be reported.

Whee! The best-equipped ranch in Arizona.

Empire Ranch is especially proud of their one-of-a-kind and World-Famous herd of albino event chairs.

Emma is puzzling over herding techniques for albino event chairs.

We bite on a sign that promises "winery". Uh-huh.

Oh wait! A vineyard! Bet all they gots is raisins, though.

We race the sunset back to Tucson and the waiting snacks.
